Transportation From/To Atlanta International Airport:

If you would like to avoid the expense of a rental car, you have several options. You can take the MARTA commuter rail train (which costs $1.75 each way) or schedule shuttle service through AAA Airport Express.

MARTA

MARTA is the Atlanta metro mass transport service. MARTA covers the entire Atlanta are, including both the airport and the conference hotel. To get to the Marriott, simply catch the MARTA train from the airport. Take it north to the Brookhaven Station. Before you get to Brookhaven the train will make a stop at Lindberg Center. If you are not on a "North-East Line" train, you may have to change trains (after 9:00 PM).

Once you arrive at the Brookhaven Station, you can call the hotel for a free pickup by their shuttle. The hotel can be reached at 404.325.0000. The shuttle is regularly scheduled to stop at the station once each hour. By calling the hotel you can save something of a wait.

AAA Airport Express

AAA Airport Express runs a private shuttle service from the airport to local hotels. Reservations are required in advance. The phone number is below. Their normal rate is $25.00 each way. We have arranged with the hotel for a $5.00 discount. The hotel is in the process of acquiring a coupon or discount code to be used for our event. Please check back prior to the event for a link to the coupon or code.

In order to qualify for the discount you MUST make reservations for both arrival and departure. When you make the reservation, let the agent know that you are attending the AstriCon at the Marriott and that you qualify for the $20 discounted rate.
